NCS Pearson, Inc. (NCS Pearson).

Collection
and Use. The Organization controls, defines and manages
the collection, disclosure, communication, management, use
and storage of all data on this site, subject to all applicable
policies of the Organization and this Privacy Statement. The
SuccessMaker Enterprise software allows the Organization, at
its option, to enter or collect on this site certain information
about users, including name, address, telephone numbers, and
email address.
To assist
the Organization in school administration and providing instruction
to its students and tracking student progress, the following
demographic and related information may, at the Organization's
option, be entered or collected on this site about students:
(a) name; (b) picture; (c) address; (d) telephone numbers;
(e) email addresses; (f) parent/guardian contact information
(telephone numbers, addresses and email addresses); (g) birthdate;
(h) emergency contact (name, phone numbers and relationship
to student); (i) teacher; (j) tutor(s); (k) class(es);and
(l) grade.
Student
progress, work and results from taking SuccessMaker Enterprise
coursework are collected automatically by this site: (a) to
provide customized content; (b) to assign or link to further
coursework or resources; (c) to review and track courseware
completion and results; and (d) to provide information that
may be usable by teachers, administrators, tutors, parents
and students for assessing or fostering student learning and
progress. Non-personally identifiable data may be aggregated
for statistical use by either the Organization or NCS Pearson.
Access.
Access to this site is controlled and managed by the Organization
through user identifications and passwords issued by the Organization.
The Organization handles assignment of user identifications
and passwords, changing passwords for a particular user identification
and deleting user identifications and passwords.
The Organization
may terminate access to this site at any time for any reason.
User identifications and passwords are personal and may not
be shared. User identifications and passwords must be kept
confidential. It is important that you exit under your user
identification and password at the end of each session.
Please
contact the Organization immediately if you need a new password,
if you no longer wish to use this site, if you do not want
personally identifiable information about you or your child
collected or communicated on this site, or if you become aware
of any unauthorized use or access to this site.
Security.
This site uses the SuccessMaker Enterprise software product
of NCS Pearson. The SuccessMaker Enterprise application uses
encryption to protect user information transmitted over external
data lines. This site is hosted on servers maintained by NCS
Pearson. This Privacy Statement does not extend to anything
that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, and therefore
beyond the control of the Organization and NCS Pearson.
NCS Pearson
will have access to personal data collected or communicated
through this site only as needed to provide services to the
Organization in connection with this site. NCS Pearson will
take appropriate, commercially standard steps to keep such
information confidential and use it solely as needed to perform
NCS Pearson's obligations to the Organization. NCS Pearson
may disclose any personally identifiable information to the
extent required by subpoena, court order or other legal process
or if needed for security purposes or because of the sale
or transfer of its business or assets or if so directed by
the Organization.
Cookies.
The use of cookies is common in the Internet industry. Cookies
are small text files that a web site transfers to your computer's
browser. Cookie technology tells the web site non-personally
identifiable information, but does identify your computer,
browser and Internet specifications. This site may use cookies
to measure traffic patterns, personalize content and control
