In Same Difference, students match pairs of synonyms or antonyms. There are three levels, each corresponding to a grade level.

To complete the activity:

Go to the Same Difference page. After the page loads, select Synonym or Antonym. Next click any of the three levels. A scroll appears.

Click a word in the scroll. Then click another word on the scroll that is a synonym (a word with the same meaning) or an antonym (a word with the opposite meaning).

If the match is correct, both words disappear. If the match is incorrect, try again.

Use the up and down arrows to turn the scroll.
