Back to Good Bug, Bad Bug

First, print this page and take it home. Then go on a Bug Safari to observe bugs that live in your neighborhood. As you walk around, find a bug that you think is particularly interesting. Draw a detailed picture of the bug. Label each of its parts and add the bug's name as a title, if you know it. Use the drawing below as a model. Then share the drawing with your classmates. Discuss how the bugs you have drawn are alike or different. You may want to work together to compile your drawings in an illustrated Safari Log.
